Getaway brand design.
Getaway
Getaway is striving to making space for more free time by providing restorative stays in nature.
As the Senior Brand Designer, I worked closely with the VP of Creative, Brand Design Lead, marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders on all facets of the visual brand.
This included: Larger brand evolution, serving as design lead on large scale partnerships, digital design, print collateral for 30 + locations of outposts, leading design on cross-channel brand marketing campaigns, optimizing design operations, and art direction on in-house shoots and web experiences.
Merch + Sticker Design
Led concepting and design of new merchandising and collateral alongside VP of Creative + Content, key stakeholders and vendor partners. Sticker designs are seen below, with full merch line designs soon to be added. All designs belong to Getaway House, inc.

Welcome Series
Through a variety of lead generation funnels on social and web, potential guests are brought into Getaway’s email program. The Welcome Series hadn’t been updated since 2019, and needed a strategic refresh to introduce the brand, create a strong first impression, and ensure that this high-conversion opportunity for new lists of users was not left on the table.
Working with the Senior Email Marketing Manager, Copywriter, and Illustrator, I brought this series into our updated design system, integrating more dynamic brand visuals (full bleed imagery, illustration and iconography) to educate and engage new users.
Each email in the flow was designed with its strategic purpose in mind: 1. Getaway 101, 2. Engaging new potential guests with editorial content and FAQs, 3. Share guest stories, 4. Educate on the ease of our loyalty program.

Passport Campaign
The goal of Getaway Passport was to drive loyalty and repeat bookings by guiding guests to visit other nearby locations in their regional markets — namely in the North East and Texas, which have 4 and 3 locations, respectively.
The solution: Gamify loyalty by creating an email program where the user receives an email after they complete their visit at a participating Outpost and encourages them to visit the next on their list. We achieved this through designing a unique experience that begins with an introduction to their stage in the journey, an animated, illustrated hero that ties in the nature of the road trip, and dynamic content blocks that update based on where the user is in their journey.
